Deep snowfall in November is bringing skiers and riders out of the woodworks.

There's nothing like early snow to get you stoked for another ski season. Here at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine the snowfall in November reached over 50 inches. Talk about a white Christmas to come. Most of the fluffy East Coast powder came mid-week near the end of the month- giving locals and mountain employees a delicious taste of what's sure to stay a snowy season.
With a sturdy base layer in effect, the mountain has fired up their snowcats for some Burnt Mountain Cat Skiing. The experience offers Sugarloaf ticket and pass holders the unique opportunity to ski terrain that in the past has only been accessible by skin, snowshoe, or foot.
